Alex is a graduate student in Health Research Methodology leading a creativity research program at McMaster University. His work on creativity has been published in Creativity Research Journal, Scientific Reports, British Medical Journal Open, and PLOS One, among other journals. Alex has presented his work at several creativity conferences including APA Division 10 and the MIC Creativity Conference, and lectured on creativity in the McMaster School of Business.

He is recognized as a global leader in global surgical trials and the promotion of evidence-based surgery worldwide with over 1,100 peer reviewed publications. Dr. Bhandari’s commitment to high-quality relevant research has seen him receive the Order of Canada, McMaster University’s Distinguished Alumni Award, and the King Charles III Medal.

Dr. Sameer Parpia is an Associate Professor at McMaster University, Biostatistician at the Ontario Clinical Oncology Group (OCOG), and Lead of the Collaborative Unit Biostatistics and Evidence (CUBE) group. He is the Director of the Canadian Network for Statistical Training in Trials (CANSTAT), a pan-Canadian platform to train and mentor biostatisticians.
Goran Calic PhD McMaster University
Dr. Goran Calic is the Entrepreneurial Leadership Chair and a Associate Professor of Strategy at McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Strategy, with a minor in Economics, an MBA from Purdue University, and a Post Doc. in Mathematical and Computational Cognitive Science at Purdue University. He leads the Nuclear Systems Design and Analytics (NSDA) Lab at McMaster University.

DeGroote Centre for Medicinal Cannabis Research, and the Director of Research for the Chronic Pain Centre of Excellence for Canadian Veterans.
